DESCRIPTION:My first love is People Photography. It is the talking to people and getting them on my side\, giving them the ideas of pose and mood etc to bring out that special look. I am not keen ion artificial looks. I like the natural feel of an image. \nI have walked and cycled all my life\, sand still go on long walks in Snowdonia and the Peak District and take my camera\, climbing to a particular viewpoint where I feel scene is best seen. \nI also love taking some local sports\, such as Cricket\, ladies and men’s rugby and Alsager 5 road race. \n My people photography is very varied\, including model shoots\, indoors and out.  Actors and actresses. organises my own mini shoots and generally keeping my eyes alert for  special opportunities . \nI have been Photographer of the Year several times at Alsager CC \, including the last two years.  I came 10th in the 2020  L&CPU Individual  Competition  covering Colour Mono and Nature

SUMMARY:Wild About London with Andrew Wilson
DESCRIPTION:Andrew Wilson is a publisher and photographer; a resident of Putney\, which he loves\, he photographs the beauty found all around us. \nNature is never far away as far as Andrew is concerned and our glorious open spaces are a constant feature throughout his work he’s often seen in the company of his springer spaniel Josie\, who features in every book. \nPassionate about photography\, he runs a thriving photography club – the Putney Satellite for London Independent Photography. He is also an active member of The Friends of Barnes Common\, for whom he volunteers and sits on their committee. \nAs well as his own work\, Andrew is helping another South West London resident and photographer\, Joanna Jackson\, publish her work and they have so far collaborated on A Year in the Life of Bushy Park and A Year in the Life of Kingston-upon-Thames. \nUnity Print and Publishing specialises in producing high quality coffee table style photographic books. Devised by Andrew Wilson\, it has to date published 16 books\, its most successful being Wild about Barnes\, which is now in its third edition.  Each of the books take around 18 months to produce and are essentially a year in the life of the towns or villages featured; with all the seasons at your fingertips\, you can amble through the places at their most beautiful. The accompanying editorial\, put together by local historians\, helps put all the pictures into their proper context in a light and often amusing way. The Wild About series is ever expanding\, with more coming in the next few years.
