Preparing Digital Images for BPS Competitions

Projected Digital Images (PDIs) are used for all competitions in BPS, including prints (so that a record can be kept)

They are entered via Photoentry and have the following format:

.JPG file, in sRGB color space

maximum 1400px Wide, 1050 px high

They do not need to be renamed for PhotoEntry.

It is not imperative for images to be in sRGB space and no bigger than the required dimensions as Photoentry resizes and converts them, but it is advisable to do it yourself to ensure the results are as intended.

Notes:
1. To convert an AdobeRGB image to sRGB, use the following in Photoshop or Photoshop Elements:
–  PS 6 up to CS1: Image > Mode > Convert to Profile
– PS CS2 on (including CC): Edit > Convert to Profile
– PS Elements 4 on: Image > Convert Color Profile > Apply sRGB profile

2. To adjust image dimensions, use the Image Size command
